TASK 12: Physical effort


Being a good athlete (Am. E.) or sportsperson (Br. E.) is not easy at all. It involves a lot of effort. Sport is also connected with a special lifestyle. What is, in your opinion, either good or bad for a sportsman.

I would say that drinking alcohol is definitely bad for a sportsman and the same is true about smoking.

Well yes, but smoking is much worse for sportsman, I wouldn't say that drinking is good, but it's better then smoking :D.

But You can play better If You drink some alcohol. But You have to drink one day bofore the game.

It's definetly not good if you are smoking or drinking, these are drugs and it's bad for our healthy

But alcohol and drinking is not all, there is much more stuff, you have to care if you're sportsman, or if you trying to be sportsman. :D

Well, i train karate, actually I wasn't training seriously for last 2 or 3 month now, because I had some "school" problems plus I'm creating new web project :D which I will launch it soon. But first I have to learn for last 2 subjects :(.

I agree whit jernej smoking is much worse that alcohol for sportsman - it is very bad for your stamina. When you run for a long time you feel it ! Alcohol is also not good but if you drink whit your mind there is noting wrong, even franc bekenbauer was drunk sometimes.
